Customers in countries such as Mexico, Chile and South Africa, totaling 30 international markets, will have flexibility during the pandemic, without any prejudice to the guarantees involved.
After easing the deadlines for review of trucks and buses in its network of dealers throughout Brazil, VW Caminhões e Ônibus extends this measure to 30 countries, with the aim of serving its customers worldwide with extended deadlines for free services, provided in maintenance contracts or funded by the owners.
“At this challenging time worldwide, our focus is to provide the best service and contribute to our customers who are on the front line. This is only possible thanks to the union of VW Caminhões e Ônibus forces and its network, with more than 347 dealers and service and technical assistance points in Brazil, Latin America and Africa, always with the utmost care recommended by the World Health Organization,” comments Roberto Cortes, president and CEO of VW Caminhões e Ônibus.
The measure aims to assist in the transport of goods, passengers and the provision of services at a time when, more than ever, they are essential in combating the Covid-19 pandemic. Fleets linked to the distribution of food, hospital equipment, medicines, hygiene materials, among others, operate with all vehicles to meet the highest demand and cannot stop.
If the customer is unable to take his vehicle to the dealer during the pandemic period, he may carry out the maintenance within thirty days after the settling of the scenario, without any prejudice to the guarantees involved. In this way, the customers who came with the maintenance of their vehicle up to the date of disclosure of these measures will continue with their rights guaranteed by the automaker. And the dealers are instructed to prioritize these services when the situation normalizes.
